Kay Genton (they/she) is a multi-award winning arranger, educator, vocalist, and instrumentalist based in Orlando, Florida. They travel the country teaching courses on collaboration, leadership, and intuitive musicianship at festivals like Boston Sings and SoJam. As the Grand Director and co-arranger of Orlando’s Voicebox, they strive to innovate in the world of a cappella through a holistic approach to art, education, and community.
Kay specializes in conceptualizing original, intentional narratives for a cappella set-crafting, composing arrangements that reflect those intentions to the fullest extent, and giving groups the tools necessary to achieve a sound that’s purposeful and full that has a sonic identity.
